About

No Mean Radio: a platform for Glasgow's creativity and the voices that make this city hum. Broadcasting from the basement of The Variety Bar, No Mean Radio brings together musicians, artists, writers, comedians and everyday Glaswegians with something to say. It's a home for people who make things, dream things and dare to share them. From live sessions and interviews to off-beat podcasts and community projects, the studio exists to amplify the city's ideas and energy. No gatekeepers, no polished corporate nonsense. Just real people, real stories, and the sound of Glasgow doing what it does best: creating.
